Usually before a presentation, I'm fully prepared, I know whart I'm doing and I have the confidence to present gracefully (konon larh). But sometimes, just before a presentation, I get this really retarded gush of nervousness; when my heart starts pumping adrenaline through my body at 50 beats per second and the palm of my hands magically transform into waterfalls. That's when I realize, "Oh shit. I'm not ready". That's how I judge how the outcome of a presentation will be because I wouldn't be nervous if I came prepared, right?
Nothing good comes out of being nervous. You forget the key points of your design or concept, you stutter like a goat, you go completely blank and can't answer the lecturer's questions. Just ... bad larh basically.
Fortunately today, I gathered enough confidence to block out any nerve-wrecking thoughts and stay focus, even though the Studio Master was the person I had to present to. I didn't see her (nor the other lecturers except for my own crazy tutor) at all for tutorial these pass few weeks, which made me a lil anxious.
But fortunately, I got pretty good and constructive criticism that was kept short and simple. The Studio Master is usually the type that babbles on about how your work should be improved and how your design makes no sense in an urban context, but if she doesn't have much to ask or say, it's usually a good sign (I've concluded that silence is good). And she seemed very pleased with my work which made me even more happy about the direction I'm going. Two thumbs up yo w00t w00t!
I honestly don't know if mine is good enough but whatever it is, avoid getting a C! LOL.
Okay I should get started on my Comic script. @_@
Updated: 7th June 2012
Today (6th of June) was a hell of a looooooooong day! Haha. In a way, pretty productive. My day started off with some menstruation cramps (in which I usually would rather sleep in til like 4 in the evening instead of lifting a finger but today ...); I forced myself out of bed since we had a PADI meeting that I HAD to attend, seeing as I'm the "delegate leader" of the whole group (declared by my lecturer, as always).
Had a productive meeting, where we brainstormed ideas and discussed with our lecturer about whart to do for the installation, performance and such and how to do everything. I guess we have a certain direction nao (thank goodness we ave our lecturer. I wouldn't know how to lead this huge group without him).
After that, a bunch of us headed out to get some materials for the installation but after collecting a few items, we got lost in Bukit Kemuning/Kota Kemuning/Kemuning Utama looking for Yvo's uncle's supplier's warehouse for like a good hour or so. We stopped for a cendol break though. MMM SEDAP.

The cendol man used a door as a bridge! Passive? I think YES! Hahaha.
After a good B. Tech tutorial session, we then headed to Kelana Jaya to check out the pasar malam. Bought like tonnes of food and headed to Dexter's house to feast! That's when we surprised Jojo for his belated birthday. How? We told him to go outside to look at the moon. Hahaha! Then came the surprise. It was pretty successful! SO AWESOME. Lol! Happy belated birthday Jojo! :D
The humble little pasar malam.
Tried lok lok for the first time. Interesting but eating while standing always makes me feel uncomfortable. Though every time I go to a pasar malam, I won't stop buying and eating food. It's ridiculous really.
Dawww kiutz photo of us (●^∀^)ノ♡
