How on earth did November creep up on me?! Time flies too quickly man. Not coohl. But anyway! It's getting colder here in Glasgow. Waiting for winter to finally arrive and slap me right in the face cheeks. I'm not looking forward to not seeing the blue sky, but it'll be okay ... I hope. 8(
What's been happening lately?! Last month, during the first weekend of October (I think), Mir came over to Glasgow for a visit! I realize, after a while of being here, that I do miss having Malaysians around me. It was a relief listening to someone speak to me in BM. I'm use to the absence of it nao, but I still get overly excited when someone communicates with me in my native language (despite my language fluency ... or lack thereof).
I took him to all the nice tourist-y (or at least, to me they were) spots in the city. We didn't have any plans of whart to do, so I kinda winged it and just brought him to all the places that I really like. In the photo above, we were in the tower of the Lighthouse. It's a good spot if you wanna have a nice view of Glasgow!
And of course, I brought him to the Kelvingrove Park. It was such a beautiful day too! How can you pass the chance of taking a nice stroll around the park!
AND OF COURSE I took him to Necropolis. Still one of my favourite spots EVER.
Typically, on a sunny day, I'd drag someone to go sunbath with me. SUNBATHING IS SOMETHING VERY IMPORTANT IN MY LIFE AT THE MOMENT. I swear, I've become a tone fairer compared to when I was in Malaysia.
The next day, I really didn't know where to bring Mir. Haha. So we kind of mindlessly walked around Glasgow. Ended up on the east side of the city. Above is St. Andrew's Cathedral. Pretty eyh! I'm always fascinated at how well they make cathedrals. So gorgeous.
MURAL. Me likey squirrel mmhmmm.
Again, the weather was on our side. :) A decent photo of High St!
We ended walking to a random park with nice trees and a very rad playground that looks like a pirate ship floating on water. That's some architecture right derrr.
Some adorbz photos of the Melayuz ahakz. Miss you already! ❤❤❤ Hopefully I'll be able to pay a visit to London some time soon. Maybe in December, during my short break.

My flatmate (and the baby of the household) just recently turned 19! Hooray! She's an October baby like me! :D Anyway, us ladies spent time together for her birthday. JAPANESE FOOD AT NIPPON KITCHEN ERHMAHGERD. It was really good y'all, I do not kid (not sure if it's 'cause I'm so deprived of Jap food or whether it's actually really good). I miss Sushi Zanmai! D: This was the closest thing we could find to good Japanese food so far.
With these beautiful babies. ❤❤❤
Look at how gorgeous that is. I salivate just by looking at this photo. Sigh. ❤❤❤
And of course, our weekend and the birthday celebration wouldn't be complete without shisha. Happy belated birthday again you little rascal! :) ❤❤❤
Lets not forget the fact that I've officially become a year older. 22 is a pretty mundane number; not exactly a stepping stone into anything so I guess I wasn't particularly as excited about it as I expected myself to be. But meh ... ok ... life goes on ... hahaha.
It was the first time I have ever celebrated my birthday away from "home". It was ... interesting I suppose? Back in Malaysia, there would always be some form of a surprise waiting for me (and it always fails 'cause I always catch my friends in action haha). This year, I didn't expect anything at all, so I was pleasantly surprised by all the wonderful things my friends here in Glasgow did for me. :)

Thanks so much guys! It seriously baffles me how wonderful I have it here. Surrounded by the best of people and everyone treats me so well. :) I'm really grateful.
Lily, Teck Hong and Shirley prepared a super delicious butter chicken dinner for me! Super nice of them! And it was delicious Lily! Successful! :D Thank you!
A few of my classmates decided to have an impromptu celebratory lunch with me too. Thanks guys. :) Sweet of you. And thanks unni for the umbrella! Probably the best (and most practical) gift I've ever gotten. ❤❤❤
And again, another random celebratory session with my flatmates! Haha. Sexiest candles in the world, I must say. Thanks so much my ladies! :D ❤❤❤
Also, to my beloved wife in Malaysia, THANK YOU FOR THIS WONDERFUL GIFT. I would never have imagined that something like this would have arrived in my mailbox here in Glasgow. Seriously such a great surprise! And I can't believe you remembered whart I wanted, even though I'm pretty sure I only vaguely talked about it. YOU ARE THE SWEETETETETEST MY BABY BOO. I love you so much. Thank you for thinking about me. :) I will use these brushes with lots of love. ❤❤❤

By the fucking way! Proud moment[dot]com time. I MADE CHICKEN RICE FOR MY FLATMATES AND GIANLUCA. Omg I'm still so happy about it. Hahahahahahaha! The chicken rice turned out to be almost as good at Kak Puji's, WHICH IS EPIC. My confidence in cooking has reached a new level man. Next up, assam laksa, nasi lemak and proper legit tom yam soup. HWAITING!
YOU DON'T UNDERSTAND HOW PROUD I AM. The rice turned out SO GOOD AND FLUFFY. The chicken was almost exactly like Kak Puji's! BANGGA OK.

Had a very humble Halloween celebration this year (by humble I mean ... hilarious and totally unprepared ... but yeah hahahaha). It was random and not well-planned but I got to spend time with people that I care about and that's all that matters! Also, seeing unnie chase after a man in a dragon outfit was priceless. Pokerface queen will make you laugh, really.
LOL LOOK AT HEE EUN WITH THE TELETUBBIES. Cutest unnie ever!
At Broadcast, which is by far one of my favourite pubs ever. Need to drag the flatmates there for some drinks soon!

Also, first time celebrating Deepavali in Glasgow! :D Rishi decided to cook some South Indian food for us and throw a little party for the flatmates; which grew slightly larger because Jackie invited her clique to join us = yay, new friends!
ANY VAYYYYY, I really should sleep. I need to completely heal from this cold or whatever my body is currently battling, especially since there's a presentation on Monday. (=.= ") And tomorrow will be a fun day in Edinburgh with the Italian man! We're gonna go see the Da Vinci exhibition HOYEAH EGGCITED! I want me some human anatomy ohoho.
Ending this post with a romantic photo of myself, elegantly glancing into the distant horizons of Glasgow's riverside (lolwatbullshit). K bye. ❤

Decorations for the night! Utilizing my post-its, of course.
We made our flat super romantic! :D
Food food food food food!
We realize nao that it's actually fun to throw little gatherings and decorate our living room! We'll have more get-togethers in the near future. It was a great night; making new friends and sharing lots of stories. I think we talked for hours! And Rishi made really good food! GOOD JOB MY PUPPY. :)

The other day, there was a fireworks show/Bonfire night/I dunno whart celebration thinggy going on at Glasgow Green. Guy Fawkes Night, was it? I dunno. Haha! Many people explained the purpose of the event but I just can't remember whart it was all about. Anyway, the flatmates and I (along with Jackie's classmates) went to go see the spectacular-explosion-show-thing. It was pretty good! I expected a bit more from Glasgow but AH WELL. The cold got to us though; I could've sworn my toes were about to break off. Regardless, it was a nice night.
Us with our tapao-ed fish and chips; which were disgustingly delicious.
Puppies ❤
Being a typical asian and taking photos with the fireworks. I put down my camera after taking only a few photos and actually enjoyed the fireworks in real life okayh, I swear!
LOOK AT THE AMOUNT OF GLASWEGIANS. The most amount of people I've seen outdoors after 8pm in like ... ever!
Just a lovely photo of Merchant Square. SO BEAUTIFUL! ❤❤❤
Ended the night at Tinderbox for some cuppa joe. Went there to get some blood circulation going too! It was a really cold night. Our hands and feet were literally numb from standing outside for too long!

Here comes the compilation of all kinds of shit that's been happening, that I'm far too lazy to organize/categorize. I couldn't be bothered to type everything out 'cause I'm SO TIRED, like seriously. Fell sick, fought (and still fighting) the damn cold weather and still have to do work. It's a battle that I PLAN ON WINNING. Also, we have a presentation on Monday with Fujitsu and the students from Chiba University HAR HAR HAR stress and patience tolerance decreasing drastically ... sigh.
This was the info-vomit from last Monday. LOOK AT THE COLOURS. There's even more info-vomit for Monday hooray! I SWEAR half the time I feel like I have no idea what the hell I'm doing (that's an understatement). I'm probably the most lost in the whole studio ... but I'm getting by ... I hope. I'm doing the best I can okayh!
I rediscovered my love for cafes (or more like reignited the desperate need/flame to go cafe-hunting) when I went to Cafe Hula with Hee Eun the other day. I mean, I've been to many cafes here already but for a while, I forgot how to appreciate the space. THIS CAFE GENUINELY LIFTED UP MY SPIRITS. I love it! ❤❤❤ And my need to go around absorbing awesome spatial energy from beautiful cafes has finally come back (I suppose it took a while 'cause I've been settling into Glasgow but NO EXCUSES NAO).
Just a lovely photo of Kelvingrove Park. This was taken after the clouds engulfed the sun while we were happily basking in its glow. Sad, but true. The weather is become shittier by the day.
Here's a very lazy montage I did of one of the artworks from the Theatre Nemo Prison Art Exhibition! It's beautiful seriously. Prisoners made this piece with stories from their past experiences; so there are notes and drawings by them explaining things that have happened in their lives. Really touching and interesting.
Here are me and my puppies after a stressful week of wooooooooooooooork; at our usual shisha place. The shisha was horrible tonight but whatever hashtagyolohashtagswag. ❤
