FREEEEE-wait-for-it-DOMMMMM

The bottom content was typed out the day before my final presentation. Haha! I wanted to post it up but I totally forgot cause wasn't free! So funny. You can go straight to the bottom.

19th Dec 2012

I can proudly say that I'm officially done with all of my course work. ALL. Don't know if it's enough to get me through to graduation (here's hopin' and praying that it is. TOUCH ALL THE WOOD!) but I've made it this far! I'm a survivor! *queue Destiny's Child*

My final presentation is in this tomorrow, sooo I printed my board on Tuesday and submitted that and my crappy model on Wednesday. Hoping for the best! Sigh. This Thursday, I hope I manage to put all my worries aside and sell my mediocre design to the crits. NEED TO GRADUATE. PLEASE. And hoping for my 3.33 CGPA to REMAIN at 3.33 at least. Please don't drop or I will be beyond depressed. Sigh. FEAR IS IN THE MIND MAN. FEAR DOES NOT EXIST! *gives self pep talk*

So anyway, I'mma show off some of the work I've been slaving over for the passed few weeks. I have literally been at home for over a month, in my cave, just doing work. The same fucking routine every single day, it's sickening. SO! I should at least keep some copies of my work on my blorg right? Haha. This semester, I decided to go all-out on the renderings and by all-out, I mean Photoshop the hell out of them (they're not as good as many others' I've seen but they're pretty coohl looking to me haha).

It took me 3 semesters to realize that I did NOT do proper renderings in my previous semesters. Dafuq man! Haha. I just rendered whatever, Photoshop-ed it like a little and thought it was good enough. How stupid of me haha sigh idiot. I can proudly say that I spent like at least 6 hours on each rendering. My right hand is a potential victim of carpal tunnel nao. T_T So much abuse! I'm sorry wrist. You may rest nao. Mmm the renderings aren't legendary or anything but I'm pretty pleased with them. I did the best I could with the best of my abilities on Ps. Haha. So here they are!

So this is the montage of my simple building in Little India. I like how the mosque looks. It looks so grand (I like the mosque better than my building wtf haha)!

This is the second montage from the opposite direction. And the Hindu temple is standing proudly in this image too. Haha. FYI, SILHOUETTE OF BIRDS COMPLETE AN EXTERIOR PERSPECTIVE VIEW BRUHHH.

So this is the rendering I did of the cafe lounge in my building. Tried to make it hipster LOL! I like the old man with the coffee. And my exposed brick wall textures. Awh yeahhh ~

This is the underground creativity arena in my building. The ceiling is actually suppose to be a light path/glass flooring for above. Haha okayh I dunno. I liked the idea of having an area for people to express their artistic abilities so I put like a creative space/platform for the locals, if that makes sense. Also, there are shophouses in Little India with murals on like the walls and floors. GO DO MURALS IN MY BUILDING! It'll be well preserved and better displayed there! Hahahaha.

This is whart I call the "Little India's Signature Galleria". SOUNDS FANCY RIGHT? Haha. It's just a gallery space to display artwork by the public aka students and local Little India folks. If you go to Little India, people use the main roads to do like rice art and stuff. Why not provide a proper space for it right? Haha.

And this is interior of the library. Looks legit. Like a library ... right? Hahaha.

This is my lame board. It's the best that I can squeeze out from my brain. I just can't think anymore! Haha. I've mentally given up so my board kinda looks lame and boring. At least I rendered my drawings to make it look better, but that's about it. Whatevs ~ Will just print this out tomorrow.

So this is the report I slaved over. Though there are like a million and one mistakes in there, LET'S HOPE IT'S SUFFICIENT. T_T I put so much effort into it man. It better get at least like 7% out of the 15%! LOL.

This is my crappy model. Like I said, I mentally gave up a while ago so this is just work I tried vomiting out. It's decent I guess, but it's messy. I've done better for sure, but whatever. Haha.

So anyway! GOOD LUCK TO ALL OF MY CLASSMATES FOR PRESENTATION TOMORROW. The best of luck from the bottom of my heart! I hope that we all graduate together and lets hope for the best grades we can ever achieve. :)

Seriously guys. I can taste freedom. TASTE IT. It's only a presentation away! AND THERE'RE SO MANY FUN THINGS TO DO AFTER EVERYTHING IS OVER THAT MY TITS CANNOT BE CALMED DOWN HOLY SHIT. Okay getting too excited. LET'S DO THIS!!

21st Dec 2012

It's actually pretty hilarious looking at whart I typed a couple of days ago. Haha.

In other news ... I'm free. Finally ... after 4 long years. I can say with so much pride and joy that, I'M FREE. It's an unbelievable feeling I'm experiencing (til nao, even after KO-ing and shopping and whatever). These emotions haven't left me yet; of just bursting out into happy tears. After saying my last Thank-Yous to the external crits, I just wanted to hug everything that moved! It's so surreal.

FYI, my external crit went pretty okay. I'm happy with myself and how everything went. Of course they had comments on how to improve my work, which is expected and I'm really grateful for their input. I'm also proud to say that they were pleased with my presentation and they told me that I did pretty good. I feel so ... content ... after hearing such words. Especially after all the hard work and discipline I put myself through to survive this semester. The amount of break downs and explosions I experienced were so worth it.

I feel blessed and really proud that we've gone this far; all my friends and I managed to survive this course, helping each other as much as we could so that we can finish together. After these long years of knowing everyone in my gang, I'M JUST SO HAPPY WE SURVIVED THIS TOGETHER. SO SO HAPPY. And I'm so very sure that everyone did a wonderful job for the final presentation. It's a great time to celebrate. :) LOVE YOU GUYS! Cheers to a great future ahead!
