So it's nearly the end of the week/end of the mid sem break. My body is aching, I'm feeling rather lazy and I wish I could just draw instead of do work on AutoCad. Oh sigh. I suppose I've been considerably productive this week, other than watching tele every single day (Running Man, Strong Heart and all that nonsense) and shoppinggg, I HAVE finished quite a lot for studio (I consider it a lot larh okay) and also, Yvo and I have completed the foundation for the car park supervisor's shelter! Hooray! Freaking hard work man. With my insanely weak upper body strength, I still managed to dig out some of the soil and concrete on the site. My back, hands and shoulders are aching man. Gawd whart's up with my stamina. Haha! I feel so weak! WAIII!
This photo was taken a few days ago, when we started the project. That's us trying to show off our concrete covered hands but it's not exactly showing. Haha.
You see that? We did that ourselves y'all. Haha! Like ninjas. We tried to complete it as fast as we could but our staminas and the sun didn't really help. I have a weird tan line cause of the spaghetti strap I wore. Boo!
If you look carefully, you can see the 4 tyres that have already been cast with concrete! Hooray! That's Yvo, looking like the new car park supervisor. Awhhh yeah.
Whoever is reading this, please take 2 minutes of your life to support my classmates and my efforts in building this shelter for the Nepalese car park supervisor! It would mean a lot to us if you could "like" and "share" our FB page with your peers. :)
Whee ~

Also, managed to find (or more like drag) two artists to add onto the "public art exhibit" in SquareDotz. LOL! Those of whom are Nadirah and Zhe Hui, Jaslynn's classmates who I happened to make friends with months back. :) They've done such an awesome job thus far! Nad still has her wall to complete though, that meticulous woman! She's doing such an amazing job on the wall I mean seriously. Damn you TOA people and your talent. While Nad was painting, Zhe Hui drew on two lamp shades, and with such poise and detail. Haha! He's another perfectionist man, but his art is AWEZUMZ.
I find this photo so LOL! Check out Zhe Hui. Haha! He was so tired of sitting down and drawing that he decided to pose like the Thinker and draw instead. You so funny larh haha.
Here's part of Nad's mural. She actually completed more but I forgot to snap a photo. D: So far, it's looking ADORABLE. Can't wait for the rest of the wall to be completed. :D
Here's Zhe Hui posing with his lamp shades. Haha! They're gorgeous! They look so unique and creepy at the same time. Hahaha. GREAT JOB ZHE HUI!
Here's something I doodled above some plug-points while taking a break from Cad-ing. Just some simple shop houses like the ones I drew in my moleskine. I'll draw more in the shop when I have the chance. :)
Some camwhoring before we left. I LOVE THE OWLS SO MUCH NAD. Haha! So adorable man!
Here's the Artisans Board! Dex's mom wants to pin up polaroids of the artists who have contributed to the cafe. :) It'll fill up soon enough! Haha.
You can find out the location of the restaurant at their FB. Make sure you camwhore with all the paintings yo! Haha.

Just had a major break down a couple of hours ago. Burst into tears after watching Glee and last week's episode of Grey's Anatomy. I don't know why. It's either the episodes struck a nerve or I'm just mentally cracking with every passing day. Regardless, it was a good cry. Felt some relief and made me more enthusiastic about work (wth is wrong with me man?).
In other boring news, I have no idea if my progress is good or not. I feel like I'm at a snail's pace, not having a direction. So far, I've completed my plans, sections, detail blow ups (for B. Tech) and an axo for Studio (though it's not canggih cause I'm cheating and doing a small part of my building). I think I'll do my renderings next, since there are some spaces I couldn't show in my section (couldn't or wouldn't? Lazy larh!). Then I'll head on the updated design narratives, report and a more precise explanation on the environmental high-tech stuff that we're suppose to intergrate ... sigh. My life is so dull.
Legit? Don't even know if this is enough. But whatever. Drawing this is better than drawing nothing.
I'mma gonna wash my face, get some dinner, slap a sheet mask on my face after, and Sketch Up my night away! Hooray! :'D
P.S. Let me take this opportunity to remember the fact that I have generous and kind people in my life and as a reminder to myself, I must always be patient and not bitchy to the people who are trying to help me with anything, big or small. Thank youuu.
