Note : There are updates from different days on this entry. Don't get confused ~!
19 October
So I finally found some time to sit a chill this week. It's been hectic bruhhh! Yvo and I have been camping out at Jojo's place for far too long. I almost forgot whart my cats look like (just kidding ... but still). We successfully finished our Building Tech project 1! Kinda proud of us, though there were some mistakes discovered during printing but whatever. Can't blame us eyh! No sleep and there were only 3 of us in a project made for 6 people. WE STILL BE AWEZUMZ KAY.
Oh and here! I shall share some random crap from Project Management.
This thing is an elevation that Yvo and I tried rendering but kinda looks funnyh and weird.
This looks better in my opinion cause it's actually rendered through Vray then Photoshopped to da max. Hehe. Looks pretty aight.
This is just some crappy rendering I did when I was trying to stay awake during the last few hours of completing the B. Tech report. Done at like 6 - 7am in the morning? Haha.

21 October
The passed few days I've been lacking sleep like crazy. One all-nighter and the rest of the nights consist of 3 - atmost 6 hours of sleep. And I still haven't gotten the sleep that I need to reboot my body. Will crash in a minute because this is getting ridiculous and I feel bad for my body haha.
So anyway, this morning, after forced myself out of bed to attend Kevin Mark Low's lecture session in campus. Most people that know me well enough know that I am like a super fan girl when it comes to KML or Ng Sek San so I wouldn't miss this intimate session for anything!
He started the lecture off with some fun stories about his life in America back in his university days. It kind of made me feel like Taylor's was nothing in comparison and that I should just retake my degree in the US or something. He told us about the time that everyone use to sleep in the studio and about how they could customize the studio to their liking, not like Taylor's with the plastic chairs and the industrial furniture.
He encouraged us to ask him questions, though most of it were related to content and form, because that's, well, his "architectural language" (which he said he's bored of LOL). He also advised us on one very important thing and that is to be honest with your design, your opinions and your choices. And if that honesty leads to no money and no food, then so be it. I totally respect that because I think I've seen my fair share of corruption in this industry and have kind of strayed away from the idea of practicing partially because of said reason, and the fact that KML is such a hippie about it and preaches that being honest is the way to go, never be a hypocrite about anything, well, I LOVE IT. And I admire his passion so much.
So anyway, just to some it up larh okay, it was friggin' fun and inspirational! Personally, the best part for me was when I asked him about whether he loved being a lecturer and he replied back with "... I think I'm more of an educator than an architect. I know that I'm up there when it comes to top lecturers but no where near being up there when it comes to architecture. And that's fine, because I love to teach and would probably go full time". WORDS OF ENCOURAGEMENT MAN. I can't believe that an architect that I idolize prefers to be an educator. THIS IS A DREAM.
I pray in the future that I will be as knowledgeable as him at his age, have the yearn and the lust for learning, for educating, and the passion to influence students into the right directions in their lives, as I believe he is doing in his own way.
BTW! Lemme type out an issue he raised to us today.
Kevin : "How many Malaysians does it take to screw in a light bulb?!"
Everyone : ... *silence*
Kevin : *points at light* "Ok whaaaaaaart".
I immediately burst out laughing because something so simple can be so full of impact and can clearly describe the Malaysian mentality so easily. Basically saying that Malaysians are totally empathetic, practice this bad habit of comparing ourselves to countries that are in worst conditions than us and also that we never confront the national issues that are raised by the government. And this is reflected in everything we do, including the poor light bulb that need to be changed. I could go more in detail about this discussion but I'm far too lazy and, well, you just had to be there. ~
I admire KML so much. Wish I had the opportunity to get to know him better and get involved in his work but, he's a one man show, so he said. :(

22nd October
On Friday, my college mates surprised me early for my birthday at Tony Roma's in Setia City Mall. It was pretty successful since I honestly thought there was just no time for a birthday celebration this year and that well, that Friday was meant to solely be for shopping at H&M! Haha. Jojo and I had planned it for over a week and yet he successfully fooled me and got me to believe that we were just going there for shopping and nothing else. I'd like to blame it on the lack of sleep and the lack of attention I give to noticing things around meh but credit goes to them beautiful people for even bothering to take time off to plan this out.
They then brought us (Kiwi and I) to the park, me being totally blur that night, didn't realize that Jojo, YL and Teck Hong were preparing a romantic little celebration under the arches. HAHA! Super romantic man. I love it! It was so sweet. Hehe. Love you all! Feel very blessed. ♡♡♡

Mom had a celebration for me in Bukit Kiara with the family, aunt, cousins and their children. It was nice catching up with them. A simple dinner and with cake! I invited le waifu along because I have not seen her in forever and I was afraid I wouldn't see her again for a long taim. We story-telled and caught up with each other (because the last time we met up was during Raya and that was ... like forever ago).
With my beautiful waifu. ♡
Something Dexter sent to me. :) ♡♡♡
