A short update

Trying to be funny with my title because no, in fact, this will not be a short update. Just wanted to start this post with a survey from Tumblr. It ain't very normal cause it made me think a whole lot about my answers!

• A: No idea whart Neapolitan ice cream is.
• 2: Would you rather be caught in a thunderstorm without an umbrella or a snowstorm without boots?
• A: Thunderstorm without an umbrella because at least I can try to find shelter and dry off.

• A: Unless it's a TARDIS, not so keen on time travelling.
• 4: If you could choose to have any superpower ever, what would you pick?
• A: I'm torn between all the powers that Professor X has and the ability to stop time. Both would benefit me in my studies lol.
• 5: Tomorrow morning, you wake up in the body of a celebrity, like in a '90s body-swap movie. Who is it? How do they react to your life? What do you do when you're "them"? Would you choose to switch back?
• A: Probably ... Emma Stone or Emma Watson? I honestly wouldn't know how either of them would react to being in a Malaysian body; probably would freak out like dog shit ~ Haha. And I WOULD switch back. Wouldn't swap anyone for my life!

• A: Ear drops, apparently.
• 7: What would you be more embarrassed to buy: sex toys or adult diapers?
• A: Sex toys.

• A: More than enough haha.

• A: Beauty and the Beast. Fortunately, it's being rebooted and Emma Watson is Belle so no need for me to think too much. xD

• A: Mandarin, Japanese, Korean, French, German. Violin, guitar, piano.

• A: That would suck ball sack.

• A: My face would be normal.

• A: Expensive food like a whole ton of butter prawns and chilli crabs. Craving that right nao tbh.

• A: Would probably rob a bank or steal jewellery from the Queen of England. You know, the normal stuff.

• A: With any leafy vege in my fridge, carrots, mushrooms, a bit of onions and an egg.

• A: No. I'm quite impulsive.

• A: I'm a colourful person in general so maybe once or twice every 2 weeks? Not fully black.

• A: My religion does not permit tattoos but if I could get one, I'd get one that says "Patience" as a constant reminder to myself to always stay patient and it'd be on my left wrist.
• 37: If someone offered you a free pet snake, would you take it? It's not dangerous or really big or anything. They're just moving to a place that doesn't allow pets.
• A: If my cats don't eat it up, yeah sure why not?
• 38: Do you know how to pronounce the word "pinochle"?
• A: I pronounced it like "pin-na-cle" and I assume that it's correct.
• 39: Can you think of anything more boring than birdwatching?
• A: Reading high school Malaysian History or Building Science.
• 40: Are you better with numbers or words?
• A: Defo words.
• 41: At the movies, do you stay for the credits?
• A: If it were a Marvel movie then I would be an idiot to not stay for the credits!
• 42: Is morality universal or relative?
• A: Universal. 
• 43: Let's say you're getting married to someone you absolutely adore. The only catch is that you met them through a Craigslist hookup ad that was supposed to be just for one night of casual sex. Would you tell your friends how you and your fiance met?
• A: I suppose so? My bffs wouldn't judge me. Don't know about the rest lol.

• A: Uhhhhhhhh ... there weren't names, but there were once people who insulted me for not being able to speak proper BM?

• A: Don't think I've ever actually believed in Santa Claus and don't think I've ever known anyone who actually believes/believed in him.

Soooooooooo anywayyyyyyyyyyy ...

Did I forget to wish the world Happy Eid through my blorg? Yes I did. HAPPY RAYA! THOUGH IT'S LATE. IT'S STILL RAYA SO HAPPY RAYA! YAY.

So anyway, it's currently the first week of Raya. I haven't had the most traditional celebration this year, seeing as my parents have flown overseas to Mecca. I kind of have the freedom to do whatever this year (mwahahahahahaha). It started off with Eng Wei's birthday celebration! :) Won't go into detail but we had fun man. Hahaha. Hope the birthday girl had the greatest time! Officially 21 years old! You are nao an adult!

On Monday, the high school mates and I had a Raya get together at both Amir's and my house. Lots of eating, lots of laughing. As usual. Spent the whole day with them lovelies ~

On Wednesday, I had a barbeque at mah crib yo. It was such a ber-chilling night! Had good food, good shisha, good weather, good company. It was pretty perfect. :) Stayed up from like 730pm til ... 5am? I think? Playing mah jong and talking and shiz liddat haha.

The food bought and prepared for the night! I'm very much pleased with the kebab I made. Hahaha. Gonna make more this week! Om nom nom.

Anyway, for the passed 4 days (since Thursday), I've practically been living with Jaslynn. My successful attempt at spending as much time with her before she leaves for America this Tuesday. We spent our time doing the usual activities, talking, eating, shopping and repeat. Haha! Managed to go to Laila's place to makan too. Jas felt strangely like a fish out of water, seeing as she was the only Chinese there LOL.

Days after came Animangaki and Jaslynn's farewell where all her classmates and Nikki came to partay. Her parents are pretty rad. I mean, when we arrived at her place, we went down to the basement area and there it was, Indian food in a form of a buffet, ready to be eaten. Jas's mom says it's their way of "beraya-ing". I found that hilarious and somewhart considerate of her haha!

AND HERE IS WHERE THE EXCITEMENT HAPPENS. After Nikki left for home, Nad suddenly had the most horrific asthma attack/lung cramp in the swimming pool and whart happens? Jaslynn uses the term, "bluescreen". So yes, Nad bluescreen-ed in the water, with her face LITERALLY in the water. Angie and I were panicking like fuck as we tried to pull/push her out of the pool. I had to yell for help and tell everyone that this isn't a joke and Nadirah could very well be dying lol.

She bluescreen-ed a second and a third time after that. Jas ran back home to get her car and sped over to the clubhouse (like a professional ambulance driver). We threw Nad in the car and rushed her back to Jaslynn's place. Helped her walk into a warm space, gave her tons of puffs from the inhaler, gave her dry clothes and then she slowly recovered (may I emphasize on the SLOWLY). Haha. Guuuuurl you almost made me shit in the pool man. I'm happy you're alive but please, take care of yourself, I beg you. Haha! 

The next day was spent at Animangaki!

Jaslynn is leaving on Tuesday and it hasn't properly sunk in that one of my best friends is leaving Malaysia, potentially for good. She says her studies will be 5 years long but I assume that she will stay in San Fran because it's easier to find a job as an illustrator in a western country. I can't be more than happy for her. She's so talented and she needs to grow as much as she possibly can as an artist. I'll miss her so much. :/ It's gonna be really tough to not see her all the time. I'm so use to being with her on my free time ... sigh. But it's okay, at least we have Skype. 

To Jas Tham, one of the few people that I love and cherish so dearly in my life, good luck in San Francisco, be the best you can be at whart you love, and remain as the wonderful person that you've always been. I'm so proud of you, your talents and who you've become today. My only advice to you is to always stay strong and to not let anyone take you for granted. I'm always here for you and I'm only a phone call away. Hope I can visit you in America after I graduate! Love you forever!
