"Seeing the massive gaps between each blorg entry, one would agree and understand that I am and have been extremely stressed out by assignments.
Highlights of my studies so far:-
- Accreditation this Monday and Tuesday (though it might be a lil depressing as I'm being accredited as an "average" student.) ;_;
- I've been chosen to be featured in the Taylor's prospectus yeahhhhh! That's a pretty good boost for my ego haha.
- Mr. Kid invited me and my usual gang to do another installation for a PAM competition which will be exhibited in OU or a week starting from the 4th of October so if anyone is reading this, please drop by! :D"
No. 2) Yeap. Prospectus y'all. I have something to show off after I go overseas. *shakes eyebrows*
No. 3) Progress for the installation = 0%. BLAME THE GODDAMN TECHNICAL REPORT MY GROUP AND I ARE WRITING. Wth. Stupid formats. Air-Conditioning systems alone take 54 pages of the report, NOT including drawings. Whaaart theee ... Our report will be an encyclopedia, seriously.

The recent issue I've been facing;
I am unsure of whether I should fly off to the land of quilts next year. I went to a counselor in Taylor's and he (+ Ms. Connie) told me that going for third year would mean that I'll have to do everything by myself - application, credit transfer, folio submission bla bla. I'm also unsure of whether my credits are enough to exempt me from subjects that I've already taken that may be repeated there. @_@ I have to find out if my credits are enough.
Now that I think about it, leaving during my masters would save my parents alotta money. They seem to be making ends meet to send their youngest daughter to study a professional degree. I feel so bad that I'm still taking away their retirement time. My mom told me to decide my next move because it is, after all, my own future. @_@ If I stay, I would get to graduate with my friends and continue networking here at least. But I have doubts about Taylor's because they use us as guinea pigs, sucking us dry of money, instead of giving us the quality education we need. Maybe in Sem5 it might change ... ? I dunno.
But if I leave, I'll get to start in a new environment, live in a new place, make new friends ... hmmm. My mind was so set on leaving next August. But now, back to square one.
I'm pretty sure my sister is leaning towards me staying because she kept reminding me that I can graduate with my friends, that I would get to enjoy my newly renovated room and can apply for a scholarship for masters which would save my parents a lot of $$. She has a point there of course. I always felt sad about turning away from all that. Haha. I'M STUCK NOW. HMMM. If I stay, I would have 2 more semesters to try and improve my CGPA ... ? Hmmm.

Okay. Enough ranting. Did you know that I recently went to Taiwan? Yeap! Haha. Taiwan was fun. I tried so many different types of food! It was unbelievable. Haha! Of course, you have to be flexible when it comes to trying food so I didn't mind eating the non-halal stuff. But strictly no pork (NO PORK OKAY *you know who you are*).
Anyway, Taiwan is actually really beautiful. Not something I expected though. I expected it to be like Tokyo or Shanghai, with all the LED lights and high-tech crap all over, but it wasn't. It was more humble than I thought. The buildings were old and covered with tiles ALL OVER. Such an interesting character to have as a city. And the highways are all so tall! Some were literally 5 storeys high!
Mmmm the sceneries in Taiwan, at every town we went to actually, were extremely extremely drop-dead gorgeous. <3 And the weather the whole time we were there was good. Sunny, bright and happy. Haha!
We arrived in Taipei in the evening if I remember correctly. Oh I forgot to mention. I think I don't have luck when it comes to technology and this luck disappears at particular times like during or before I am on a trip. Eg. Cameron Highlands trip, lost my phone. Bangkok trip, hard disk died on me. Taiwan trip, BB hardware problem. Coincidence? I THINK NOT. Anyway, after unloading our crap in the hotel, we headed out to the night market somewhere "near by". NEAR BY MY ASS. Haha! But it was fun walking around the city and getting lost.

ANTHONY NEELY! He's totally real and we totally met him at the market pfft.

This was an awesome, AWESOME dessert. Simple, milky and full of ice + fruit yum yum!
The next day, we went to a village up in the mountains. The bus driver is such a pro man! The roads were insanely narrow and steep! I have no idea how he got a double decker bus up those mountains but he deserves standing ovation. *stands and applauds alone*

Them pretty ladies of mine. <3

Walkin' around the town and trying every piece of free food offered to us. It was a very pretty town actually. So cute and coohling.

Obligatory camwhore photo while waiting for the rest to finish buying chocolates.

This was us, resting in front of a school after over an hour of walking up stairs and steep path ways. Such a nice place to chill.

Okay, walkin' back down.

The view from up there was great man. To live there and wake up every morning to such a view is such a blessing!

This was the smelly tofu place! SMELLY TOFU IS DISGUSTING. I mean, I tried it and tried to learn to like it, the way Melvin loves it (and he loves it with passion man), but oh God I just can't. The night before, I tried boiled smelly tofu and it smelled like shit, literally. Over at this town, I tried fried smelly tofu and it tasted like tong sampah in my mouth. For real. Not to my taste larh haha! But Melvin LOVES it.

Random big-headed dog.

Outside Taipei 101!

TAIPEI 101! The elevator up that thing was INSANE! 38 seconds from 5 floor to 88th floor. WHADDAFUCK! I convinced myself that the Taiwanese were just playing tricks on us and that the 88th floor was just like the 8th floor and the windows on that floor were just LCD screens showing us the view from the top floor. Hahaha! But alas, Taipei 101 is THAT advanced!

The view from the roof top of Taipei 101! This was proof enough that we were actually at the top of the building. HAR HAR.
We headed to another shopping area that I couldn't pronounce. Makan makan shop shop.

JAN GEUN SUK! I dunno why celebrities keep bumping into me. Guess I'm THAT popular. *flips hair*

Our tired faces. Fuhhh~

The next day, we headed to a town known for making ceramics or something liddat. Haha. We went to a Ceramics Museum!

But honestly, all we cared about was the architecture of the building instead of the ceramics. Stairgasm! I love these stairs! <3

There was this shop in town that sold vintage stuff and they sold these DIY cameras for RM75! SO CHEAP. I totally regret not getting one. T^T

On our way to the fishing village!

Eat, eat, eat iron egg egg egg.

We then headed to the hot springs! :D It was crowded but an interesting experiencing haha! I've never been into public hot springs so seeing uncles and aunties stretching and chilling in the pools was ... I dunno how to finish this sentence.

Shilin Night Market. The most crowded, noisy, narrow market I have ever been to. I've been to many markets but this is like a whole new experience on it's own! Haha! Will be doing a video assignment on it soon so if anyone is curious, you'll have to watch the video.

The non-makan area of Shilin Night Market.

Our last night there! Went out for drinks. (:
I had so much fun! It's always great to go on trips with my friends. More freedom to do anything we want. Anyway gonna KO! I HAVE STUDIO HOLY SHIT. Nothing to show ... T^T whatever larh.
FYI.
1) My BB is important. I have never missed the sound of Whatsapp THIS MUCH.
