I forgot to blorg about how awesome my group's site model is. Well here it is! I shall display the awesomeness that is our model, here on my blorg. (: All the so-called "macro" shots were taken by me, even though I used a 18 - 50mm. Hehe I iz con artist. *shakes eyebrows*


1:250! This was apparently HUGE for this particular assignment for this particular semester. We were only suppose to do 1:500 but we insisted on making it bigger and changing the scale because we're kiasu and awesome liddat. Hahaha! But also because, if the buildings were 1:500, there won't be any details. It'd be over-whelmed by trees hahaha!


This is Yi Rui's Tanah Rata sign. I know it's nothing much but I just wanna show how extremely neat she is. LOL! She's this neat like all the time. It's so impressive!


This is Yvonne Tan's clock tower. It's about half the size of your pinky finger. Haha. She's proud of it so I took a very proud photo OF it for her.


This is the building that's taking up a lot of the attention on our model. Haha. Yuan Li's bus terminal. It's seriously very detailed and neat. SHE TOOK 3 DAYS TO DO IT.

Hehe! I'm so happy and proud of my building forms team! I hope I did enough as a leader and I hope you guys are happy and proud with whart we've worked so hard on, together as a massive group! Also, good job to landscape and circulation (you know who you are :P)! You guys did an incredible job! Hope my contribution to the trees were enough and hopefully, we get the grade that we know we deserve! :D

For Building Construction 2, we have to choose a building to analyze, study, write about and make a model out of. So my group, being the very ambitious group that we are, chose Shigeru Ban's Centre Pompidou-Metz in France. It looks like this.









Teflon and timber! Organic shapes! xD Why wouldn't I love it, right? But making a model out of this beauty, yikes. Gonna be an enormous challenge. But whatever man!



Our challenge would be to figure out how to make the teflon and also how to show the detail of the ghulam timber and how it's being held together structurally. GONNA BE RAD WHEN WE FINISH IT. Expect some LED gizmos. :P
