Prosperity burger

I shall type out my recent CNY house hopping experience whilst listening to Mercedes and Santana singing a duet on the tele.

So this year for my third week of holidays, I decided to catch up with my loves since my 2 weeks in UK seemed 3 times longer than that. Within 2 weeks, many events occurred and some catching up was in order, of course. Went out with the wives and exchanged stories; I then spent time with my college mates and went CNY house hopping! This was my first time ever going to so many houses within 2 days. It wasn't as outstandingly happening as I assumed it would be, seeing as it was the last 2 days of CNY but having 9 others travelling from one end of Selangor to another with me is a party of its own. :D

The route from the first house to the last is as follows; Yuan Li - Simba - Kiwi - Eng Wei - Jun You - Yvonne Tan - Teck Chee - Melvin!

Photobucket
Day 1: Yuan Li's place! We drew Yvo and Chacha out! They were there with us (in our hearts). AWWWH!

Photobucket
Simbaba's place!

Photobucket
Kiwi's place. :D

Photobucket
Day 2: Eng Wei's place! I don't know why Melvin's posing with a 100 plus can ...

Photobucket
Jun You's place! Check out Maximus! :D Posing with the family.

Photobucket
Yvo's place! This is where all Gin Rummy chaos broke lose!

Photobucket
Teck Chee's place! :D I don't have the photo of us having dinner at Melvin's place. ): It's with Teck Chee and he's being lazy BOO! I DEMAND THE PHOTO TONY! Dx

So anyway, twas indeed a long list of houses to visit! Next year, we plan on making that list longer; state to state HEHE!

So anyway, I shall list down the most memorable parts of this experience which were;

1) Learning more of the Chinese culture from my friends who have so graciously let me into their norm of a life.

2) Until you have wed, you will forever receive ang pao! Hahaha! And to me, I think this is pretty much an extremely generous tradition, seeing as some of my friends' parents have given us quite a bountiful amount of $$. I don't know how many times I can say thanks!

3) Learning Gin Rummy. THIS GAME IS THE SHIZ MAN. I love it so much! I could play it for hours! But only if there's no gambling involve (unless it's with food then I'm in) hahaha!

4) Generally, spending time with friends. I only have less than 2 years left before I leave for Scotland so I won't pass on any event that involves spending time with my loves! ♥♥

Levain is a pretty place with pricey small-portioned food! LOL! Still nice though.

Photobucket
The DELICIOUS cheesecake that we have fallen so deeply in love with, made by mama Simba.

Photobucket
Tai ti! A game in which I still have to master. One day, I shall beat JY, in EVERY ROUND. *_*

Photobucket
The view from Eng Wei's house! It was such a nice and bright (but hot) day too! :D

Photobucket
Coffee! The shyest dog I've ever met!

This is my hubby, getting high on shandy.

LET THE GIN RUMMY GAMES BEGIN.

CNY house hopping again next year please! :D Hehehe.

ON ANOTHER NOTE; I found out that I've won 2 competitions!

Photobucket
I am amongst the 15 students that have won prizes! I don't know whart I've won because they'll only announce it on the day of the Opening Ceremony in Solaris Dutamas. I hope I've won one of the top prizes; even though I wasn't even expecting it. :D But it'd also be great if I won a consolation prize. It doesn't matter because I'm still so proud of myself! Hehe. I'm so happy I learned how to use Photoshop man, seriously. Without it, I wouldn't have even been acknowledged by this German institute; Goethe Institut. Hehe. Can't wait for the event! March 2nd, marking it on my calendar!

Photobucket
Another contest is the Tech Stylo contest! Top 3 winners WOO! I don't know if this means I'm the first or the 3rd but I assume I'm still one of the top and I hope that I've won a Canon camera because that's the only reason why I put so much effort into this competition. THANKS EVERYONE FOR SUPPORTING ME THROUGH THE CONTEST! It paid off after all. :D Hehe.
