Darkness for an hour?

Okay so Ellena and I went to KL for the Earth Hour event. It was in CapSquare, a new urban place with not much things to look at nor buy (shops larh) but a very comfy place to just sit, have a Chocolate Cream Frap while obviously staring at people walk pass you.

I was surprised when we arrived there! At first, we thought we'd get lost. Since we aren't exactly the most reliable KL girls when it comes to directions. We were determined to get a cab to this place, thinking it was much further away from the Dang Wangi LRT Station. It turns out that CapSquare was only 10 minutes away on foot! Thank goodness I convince Ellena to walk around before going there. :D We wouldn't have discovered it's existence. I love where it's located too. It's practically next to the hill where the KL Tower is proudly standing. There are TREES! Hallelujah, KL is not as dreadful as a desert! I assumed the Earth Hour event would be held at a place similar to Petaling Street. Which made me worry because when the lights go out, it's the best time for thieves and rapist to take action. LOL. It was completely safe though. Amazing.

I jakuned as we stepped foot in the border of CapSquare. There was an unimpressive looking and tall residency, an apartment, that was brown and looked too concrete. That would be our future landmark to locate CapSquare. :D As we walked by the street, we discovered a bazaar! Whoah Nelly! So many thingggs. :D I bought 2 bags. Hehe. Curse my obsession. I have too many.

We entered the CapSquare mall to just see what they had and to my surprise, KL DESIGN WEEK WAS HELD THERE EEP! I was going mad! So many artsy things. I kept telling Ellena how I wanted to someday be as creative as these pre-adult artists <3 She didn't care. LOL! But she listened to me babble anyway. Hahaha! I'll go to the next one with Qissu, someone who will freak out as much as I would.

Afterwards, we headed down to the street to wait for the walk-a-thon to begin. But we got bored. Hehe. So we decided, to hell with this, lets watch KLCC turn off! And so we did. Blar blar sat by the fountain with waffles and root beer blar blar you know wtv.

End.

P.S. Don't make Earth Hour a one time thing. Save electricity larh. Save everything in the world! Turn off everything not in use. Don't be a hypocrite.
