The beginning of a new semester

Before I begin my discussion about how excited I am that class has started, I'd like to have a re-cap of my week (for my own purposes).

So I had one last week of holidays and whart did I do? Spend time at the Guschloud office, rubbing elbows with the Singaporean Gushcloud CMO, colleagues and popular social media figures. It's quite an interesting work experience (although it was regretfully a very short one). But I can assume that media has too much politics within a company and with competitors so generally, I don't see myself as a hardcore "Blogger Engagement Specialist", like my temporary sifu, Freda, is (though I have so much respect for this tough nut 22 year old. Such a bad ass). I liked my job though. Contacting bloggers, artists, public figures and meeting up with them regarding ambassadorships. It's fun to meet new people! Especially those of a different scene and background! :)

Anyway, thanks for the experience and if I could, I'd love to continue on working to gain even more experience and meet even more people, but alas, my studies come first. I can't jeopardize my grade for a job that isn't even in my field (even though it's fun).

Hopefully, I can still be the one who contacts people and sets up meetings (and be paid for it ohohoho!). I don't mind doing that. Hehehehehe! And I will teman Kenny whenever I can, if possible (hopefully hewhewhew).

Met Hunny Madu! Kinda coohl since I've never had an opportunity to meet public figures before this. :)

On Saturday, Qissu and I went shopping (as if money flew outta our asses) at Summit. We wanted to check out their weekend bazaar, but it was disappointing and pathetic. We had more fun hunting for crap in their tacky looking stores. Oh well.

We then went to Ann's Beauty House, a beauty spa, to try out this underarm treatment thing. Something called, an E-light laser was used for le pits. It was quite painful, to be honest, but I'd have to rate it a 7.5/8 out of 10. It was a tolerable kind of pain, really. The waxing I did last week was an 11 okay! A whole new level of pain! Compared to that, E-light laser-ing is nothing. But it was new. If it really does permanently remove underarm fuzz then I wouldn't mind going constantly.

Had a mini foot spa! Ahh ~

After that, we headed to Rasta for another Bazaar. Bought all kinds of useless crap (yet again). We're planning on selling stuff at bazaars too (to get rid of clothes in a beneficial way) so lets hope it all goes well.

Le nonsense. I'm too obsessed with facial mask sheets. T_T

The next day, I spent my last day of holidays with Jas and Nikki! Caught up and ranted on and on about ... well stuff. Haha! Typical girl's night out.

Nikki brought us to this really adorable place for dinner! :) We need to try all the food in that area larh! SOON!

Class started today and I couldn't be any happier. Only 4 subjects, one of which is an elective that should be easy to score. Afternoon (if I get to swap with some of my classmates) and evening classes. Whart more could I want? Many people are unhappy about the timetable though, but I think it's great!

I'd like to think of the bigger picture. Now, we have more time to do work and it's easier to manage assignments because of the time that we are given. I'm just hoping that I get to change to the afternoon Studio sessions because, well, lets face it, I was and never will be a morning person. And I work better and faster at night, so it'll benefit me more. Especially since I'm aiming for a higher CGPA (which kinda seems impossible but, it never hurts to try).

I'm very very worried about Building Tech. and Building Science 2 though. Ananthan and Siva are tough cookies to crack. They said that the most we could possibly get is a B in class. So whart? Straight B's this semester? HOW ABOUT FUCKING NO. CHALLENGE ACCEPTED!

AJA AJA HWAITING!

P.S. For this semester;
1) MUST FOCUS
2) MUST BE DILIGENT
3) MUST BE INDEPENDENT
4) 3.5 OR GTFO
