Before I get started on reading about acoustics (YAWNFEST.COM), I insist on updating my blorg (just another way of procrastinating on work bwahaha).

We all celebrated at this restaurant called Ben and Nick's next to Subang Avenue. Sedap gila babz bro. A little on the pricey side but who gives a shit when the food is fab?! The atmosphere was so charming as well! Me likey! There're a few Iranian restaurants with shisha near by that area as well. MUST TRY.

So anyway, I feel like this really isn't my year. Luck is really not on my side at this point, so putting in the extra 150% effort to achieve my goals will be quite a struggle and challenge. 

Why am I unlucky? Well for a start, Studio has been a mentally exhausting experience. Idea after idea, brain storming, critics, tutorials, talk talk talk talk talk talk about whart we could do for Jalan TAR, user groups user groups. I wanna pengsan, but I know I shouldn't because it would be a waste of time. 

We haven't had much luck with B. Science either. We were suppose to do a lighting and acoustics study for Street Cafe in SS15, but the manager's partner decided to decline our proposal. Grr! So, we're kind of behind with our work. 

Luckily, we have a back up, which is Simba's dad's office. Haha! Siva is expecting us to do the whole lot though, and the lot is probably as big as the outdoor car park next to Syopz. :S We'll do our best to produce a report of quality and content. If our best is not enough then, expect to see me swimming merrily with the geese at the Taylor's lake.

So my lecturer called up Yvo and I to ask if we wanted to join the PADI Architectural Workshop in UPM this July. Us and our classmates of course. We've got about 25 people who have confirmed to join forces to compete with other universities! Another 5 people ++ to join us. :D Ohohoho!

I'm mega excited man! A whole week with my classmates and students from other universities, competing and sharing their knowledge with each other. It's gonna be fun! Will try to make lotsa friends. This is the time to network! Ohoho.

The only thing is, the workshop is happening on the week of our external. Mr. Kid says that we'll get an extension though but I don't want to slow down my progress because of this. Hopefully I (and all of my classmates) can maintain the momentum of work and finish quicker. :) The workshop will be funner if we don't have to think too much about Studio. 

There'll be a few competitions from whart I know of. Multimedia, passive design, performances and booth installations (in which I will obviously be participating in). Hope for the best! If we win, we would make Taylorians proud! :D

I just realized that we will be competing with 23 other universities. HOLY SHIT le pressure ~

A kitten decided to start living in my house. We have a strange relationship that started off with the silly cat getting stuck in the hood of my Beetle. She climbed up through the tires or something and just kinda got stuck. 

The first time I opened the hood, I couldn't hear her meowing and couldn't even see her. After a few hours, before going out with Jas, I heard her loud cries. Popped the hood and there she was, with her massive eyes, staring right at meh. 

She was stuck under the engine and I guess couldn't find her way out, so I took a hose and started spraying water so she would force herself to squeeze through the available openings. I helped her out and let her go. Eventually she came back and decided to stay.

So I guess we've unintentionally adopted another kitten ... ? Haha. Lizzie isn't pleased at all. She already hates Johnny, and now another female emerges. A female that I assume is Johnny's loving companion. We need to neuter Johnny before he spreads his swimmers around and impregnates the kitten. D:<

I've decided to call her Cookie. I wanted to name her Oreo but all our cats have an "IE" or a "Y" in their names, so she shall remain as Cookie. 

This is she. She's rather small compared to the other kucings in my house. I think it's cause she hasn't been de-wormed and all that. She's not as healthy but she's very friendly, just like Johnny.

Here's Lizzie camping out in my room. She's been bitchy lately but last night, she decided to sleep on my bed. She just wants some lovin' ~

Rant of the week;

It's been a pretty mentally draining week for me. My brain hasn't felt this exhausted in months. It's taking a toll on my emotions and is draining my very life away with all the thinking that we're required to do. Good God. 

I've been feeling so on-the-edge lately. The only reason I have stab someone is because I don't want to risk my reputation hahaha. I have a feeling it's sorta because everyone around me has been so down and moody as well. 

I suppose I'm the type of person who can't be surrounded by negative people. It affects me far too much, like an extreme ripple affect but I'm the only one affected by it. I've snapped at at least 3 people for being either annoying, pessimistic, undermining, condescending or just plain stupid, which shows that my tolerance level is at it's lowest. This has to stop.

I have to keep reminding myself to stay positive. There is a silver lining somewhere, we just have to search for it. I will put all my efforts into being a good student and producing good work. 

I've practically lost my will to be competitive, which I find a good thing because then I won't bother comparing myself to anyone else but me. Room for improvement, yes. Shan't give up easily! Noh way!

P. S. To all of those who are attending the Bersih rally, please stay safe! Don't get arrested by the police or anything okayh. Haha! I'm very proud to see Malaysians coming together to fight for the future. It's really great. I'm there in spirit. :) STAY SAFE AND GET BACK HOME IN ONE PIECE!
