Anyway, I'm on holiday right now and many things have been happening.
College mates and I are doing an installation for the upcoming Urbanscapes. So far, progress is slow hahaha but we know whart to do and we've collected enough material to make our installation AWEZUMZ! (Y)
Will reveal more when it's done but for now, here is a photo of me with a wrench.

I typed this out when I was at the shed but didn't manage to finish it because I was distracted by Chua. Hahaha.
"Sekeping serendah is a perfect retreat when one is in dire need of a place to seclude oneself from the hustle and bustle of the city, of work, of assignments and of life. The charming timber shed that was so cleverly designed to be open and cooling, brings upon a very fresh and new experience to the world. Stepping into a space in which is exposed, combining private and public spaces and morphing it into one solitude of an environment. Once settled in, you'd realize that there's no form of modernized technology of this generation found anywhere, which implies that we are to invent entertainment. A nearby waterfall allows us to explore the nature of Serendah; with it being a small town, there isn't much to do but relax, eat, swim at a nearby waterfall, and with perfect company, the time passes by slowly as you bond with one another. Bliss."
Hahaha trynna be poetic but failed. It's hard to put the experience of the place into words. You just have to be there.
Time to be a nerdy archi-student. Highlights of the timber shed;
1) Open shower/toilet

I showered naked under trees haha this is Ivy's shower.

Ivy had to take a shit under the pitch black sky haha her toilet was more exposed than mine. Mine was sheltered xD The photo on the left is of my shower. VERY OPEN YO.
2) Naturally ventilated bedrooms & open ... EVERYTHING

Our living room was facing trees and the entrance of Sekeping Serendah (:

The room with louvres on the right was Ivy and Faridz's room. They didn't need fans at night hahaha. Mine and JY's was on the left. Comfy but still freezing LOL. I love this place.

Partitions for Ivy's bedroom haha extremely cooling yo. You can see our kitchen at the other end. It's like an awesome block of concrete made into a stove and table.
Seeing as Sekeping Serendah is a place to retreat to, the activities there consist of the extreme numbing of the brain - mega relaxation and ultimate stoning. No matter whart we did, be it eat, talk, sit, shit; we would end up happily staring blindly into space.

This was the nearby waterfall in which many locals and tourists come to gleefully swim in. Many of the uneducated folks would throw trash and cigarette buds into the water whilst we cussed in disgust as we witnessed such actions. But regardless, it was a nice and refreshing swim lol.

Us, cycling back to our temporary humble abode.

This was us preparing for jungle trekking.

This was Sekeping Serendah's version of jungle trekking haha! They even make jungle trekking easy man. Amazingly steep ramps!

My Mongolian head gear and his fake pregnant baby.

The swimming pool which resides at the end of the long journey through the jungle (konon). This was where Faridz kept acting like some homicidal pedophile when a little girl named Anna came to play at the shallow part of the pool.
Over all, it was a good, short trip. I made a new friend, wife and I caught up and told each other stories, discovered and experienced new things (especially the toilet) and the best is, RELAXED - the aim of the trip; accomplished.

I was never one to care for politics because, lets face it, Malaysia isn't the strongest country from a political stand point, but after realizing how many Malaysians are willing to fight for clean and fair elections, showing how supportive and passionate they are for achieving whart is right for our country, really changes one's view of the whole situation. I never supported, nor was I against this Bersih rally but once I read all the articles, saw all the videos that fellow supporters posted all over the internet ... well, I guess it just changes a person.
I don't really understand whart the hell is wrong with our government. Whart is so difficult about having clean and fair elections and stopping corruption? Is it because they refuse to be honest with themselves and refuse to let the people of the country choose for whart is good and right for Malaysia? Whart is wrong with having a democratic protest? Doesn't that mean that we are a country of democracy? Then why is it illegal? Why do things like these seem so difficult for them to understand? It's one-dimensional and straightforward but they make it seem like it's more difficult than rocket science.
I believe in following whart is right and logical. The law is right and logical, so why not follow it?
The thing I hate most is seeing photos of people, let alone the elderly, getting injured from all the violence that the police have struck upon supporters! Have you no shame? Just because you're a policeman, does that mean you should throw away your respect for the elderly? Screaming at them and shoving them as though they're fugitives? Seriously, have you no shame? How dare you cowardly follow instructions of throwing harmful tear gas at peaceful supporters and hosing down hospitals when you yourselves can make a difference by fighting for whart's right? It's like none of the policemen have common sense. Yeah yeah, you're just doing your job, but this is much bigger than your job. This is fighting for the betterment of Malaysia.
Even though I didn't go for the rally, I sincerely support those who put in so much effort for Bersih. All the people from around the world and of course, those already in KL, gathering to fight for Malaysia, I salute you and respect you! So proud to be Malaysian right now.
(I typed this out like 2 hours ago when I was hyped up after reading articles about the rally haha I am more docile and less harsh now).
P.S. My hair is now red. Need to keep track of when and how many times I dye my hair haha.
