RANTS AND UPDATES

JUST TO BE CLEAR. I love the people in Taylor's; the lecturers, my friends. This post isn't directed to them at all. Educationally, Taylor's is providing us with sufficient knowledge. I love them and respect them completely. I TOO want to be good in my studies and pass with flying colours and have a long-lasting, good relationship with my lecturers.

I don't want to cause trouble or be in trouble by posting this up but, I simply HAVE to mention the problems us students in Taylor's are facing! BUT THIS ISSUE IS BECOMING MORE RIDICULOUS BY THE MINUTE!

To sum it up;

#1;
Not enough parking spaces in our campus, but our management INSISTS on having hoards of students enter our campus with new intakes and new courses and moving of courses! FIRST OF ALL, why on earth is the location of our campus next to a river/giant longkang, pylons, cows, the TOLL, LDP, RESIDENTIAL AREA AND FACTORIES?! WHY? Who would choose such a location that limits so many things for the campus users?! Secondly, WHY IS FUTURE PLANNING SO BADLY DONE? A class of 150 students cannot fit into a lecture theatre (more like classroom) of 50 seats RIGHT?! C'mon larh!

#2;
An issue raised by students as to Taylor's commencing parking fees coming June 1st. I WILL NOT PAY RM3 PER ENTRY TO PARK MY CAR AT THE ROCKY AREA BEHIND COMMERCIAL BLOCK. DON'T BE STUPID. Unless you TAR THE PARKING LOTS, PROVIDE MORE LOTS AND GET BETTER QUALITY GUARDS, FORGET IT.

#3;
WHY AREN'T THE PARKING LOTS TARRED? You can afford to invest in FAMOUS AMOS, HOAGIES, BASKIN ROBBINS, shops that BARELY have business but NOT TARRED ROADS? WHART?!

#4;
Is THIS how you temporarily solve parking problems? SERIOUSLY? Forcing us to park in dangerous areas that could potentially ruin the cars that we have to travel in? I didn't even see ANY Taylor's guards helping this poor guy out!

#5;
The carpooling system that Taylor's is trying to fire up, in my opinion, WILL NOT WORK. WHY? Your students come from many different areas of SELANGOR. Subang Jaya, Puchong, Damansara, Serdang, Kota Kemuning, USJ, Klang etc; with different schedules, how on earth do you think we should car pool?

#6;
Alternatives for transportation; BUS?! Do you not know the traffic on LDP? Peak hours, the bus would be late for HOURS. If the bus is full? Students have to WAIT. Me thinks it will be inefficient!

#7;
DO YOU KNOW THAT THE STAFF PARKING AREA IS ALWAYS NEVER FULL? WHY? STAFF DON'T EVEN WANNA PAY RM60 A MONTH FOR STAFF PARKING. OPEN YOUR EYES PLEASE!

#8;
You guys keep mentioning that you will improve our campus for the future. A little birdy told me that you were planning on making car parks under the lake (anyone with logic would know that that is NOT POSSIBLE) or something but even if this is so, WHY ARE YOU NEGLECTING YOUR CURRENT STUDENTS? AREN'T WE PAYING THE SAME AMOUNT AS THE NEW INTAKES? DON'T WE DESERVE TO BE TREATED FAIRLY? It's unfair. We're like you're pathetic guines pigs that you test new and ridiculous things out on.

#9;
A student stated, "The guards dont even care, Reason: Saya takut baju saya kotor." Oh okay. So if someone were robbing a student, practically slashing them with a knife, you wouldn't help because you'd be scared to dirty your uniform? DO THEY SOUND LIKE QUALIFIED SECURITY GUARDS TO YOU? No baton! No stick! Some so fat some so skinny! They don't even have strength to protect themselves from danger! THESE are the people you choose to protect YOUR students?

If I get in trouble, well I can fight back because I have THOUSANDS of students backing me up. WE ALL face this problem that YOU aren't resolving.

Seriously, my mother did not work hard to pay for such crappy services. I refuse to ask my father for MORE money for stupid parking that could WRECK the cars that I drive in (RM600 a year MAN! I could buy tons of material with that!)! And I will DEFINITELY not ask my parents to drive me to campus! DO YOU KNOW HOW OLD THEY ARE? THEY NEED TO REST. STOP SUCKING THEIR ENERGY DRY. This is an issue that SHOULD BE RESOLVED AND NOT IGNORED. ARE YOU REALLY TRYING TO MAKE THINGS BETTER FOR YOUR STUDENTS OR ARE YOU JUST IN IT FOR THE MONEY? Your name is being scarred, Taylor's, by your OWN STUDENTS. Not only me, but EVERYONE ELSE WHO PAYS FOR THIS SHIT.

SERIOUSLY, because of these issues, money, travelling, over-priced food, PARKING, I CAN'T WAIT TO LEAVE AND FLY OFF TO GO OVERSEAS.

I'm sorry if this is harsh but it's the truth.

On another totally opposite note, been busy with work and stuff! My trip to Cameron highlands took a toll on my phone. T^T The phone I adore EVER so much is now with the Boh tea and strawberries sigh.

Had an awesome time in Cameron Highlands; when I say awesome, I mean pretty relaxing. This is the first time I have ever felt so stress free on a study trip. Compared to many others I've been on. HAHA. Got enough sleep, played games, stoned A LOT, loitered, camwhored and all that jazz.

I was chosen as the leader of the Architectural Forms group. So far, work went well. Recording of massing and such was good. I have very cooperative mates so working with them makes things easy and fast. (:

The crime scene in which my phone disappeared.

Like a magical wonderland. :D

I love the colours. I almost lost hope in Malaysia and its nature, until I went to Tanah Rata.

After loosing my phone, I got a plushie to cheer myself up. Hahaha!

Tanah Rata! From the chapel beside the convent. :D

Testing the Nikon's macro quality. TEEHEE. The flowers and insects up in Camerons are insanely gorgeous and huge! There were Hibiscus bigger than my whole hand! :D

Straw Tower will be the epiczzzzz! Because hopefully, it can hold up more than 2kgs! YAY!

St. Peter's Basilica is nothing compared to our tower. :P

After losing my phone, I went like 5 days without portable contact! Hahaha. I didn't know being an archi-student without a phone would be SO DIFFICULT. So I got some money, sold off some stuff and got myself the cheapest Nokia QWERTY phone! LOL! The X2-01. It's like a ridiculously cheap smartphone (Lol) and it looks like a BB HAHA! Rip off. But if I can call and sms with it, then it's good enough. It has a clear screen too so (Y)(Y)! It's cute. I need to get a silicone cover and a protective screen for it to prevent it from getting scratched. :D

YAY!
